The image below presents the right tympanic membrane of an adult male patient who was the recent victim of an assault, being struck by his assailant in the ear. Dual traumatic perforations are noted in the anterior inferior and posterior inferior quadrants of the TM with hemorrhagic residue visualized superior to each.
